Flickr doesn’t use a storage model, they use a bandwidth model to limit free account activity. You get 20MB of bandwidth per month meaning that even if you upload 5MB of images then delete them then you’ve used 5MB of your bandwidth for the month. That being the case it’s a good idea to cut down the size of your pics before you upload especially since Flickr resizes them anyway. I use the WinXP image resizer powertoy and shrink them to the “small” setting. You can get it here.

It’s 9:30 at night and I’m already more tired than I can imagine. This week has been rough, tons of work to get done around the house, the job generally sucking, and of course E3 is happening. Not that I get to go mind you but I do get to continually hit the gaming sites to see what has been posted when the reporters finally decide to stop drinking and write something. I’m just being bitter right now. I so wanted to be there if for nothing else to make fun of how ugly the PS3 is.

Sleep is required before I can say anything else.

gotta love how i suddenly appear and post something, reply to some stuff, then disappear again. i am the post ghost. this blog is full of them!

anyway, i spent three hours cleaning weeds out of the garden and replanting today. then it starts getting windy and rains pretty much nonstop right after i get to work. hopefully all the plants didn’t wash away.

I would like to take the opportunity to apologize for the previous post. It was far too bloody and contained an over abundance of stick figures. Rest assured that all of those responsible have been sacked.
